If you use fuels that produce high temperatures, the double module chimney is a good choice. It is a flexible solution that can be used for many different types of fuel.

The double module chimney is suitable for use with wood-burning stoves and solid fuel boilers with flue gas temperatures above 200°C. The modular design with pumice stone elements makes it easy to work with and easy to build. The system can be reinforced as free-standing up to 11 meters and customized with steps. No distance to combustible material is required at temperatures up to 450°C. The elements retain their structure and properties at temperatures up to 1,000°C and only the free-standing part requires surface treatment.

The chimney elements are made of insulating pumice stone, so the chimney itself never reaches high surface temperatures. If the flue gas temperature does not exceed 450 degrees C, the Schiedel ISOKERN Double module chimney is CE marked with 0 distance to combustible material.

Designed for your needs

The double module chimney can be built as a free-standing chimney with reinforcement and steps, allowing it to stand up to 11 meters (depending on model) without support from the building. Separate inner and outer modules with air gaps allow the chimney to handle high surface temperatures.
The chimney is available in all common sizes and can therefore be used for both large and small fireplaces.

Made from volcanic pumice stone

All Schiedel ISOKERN products are made from pumice from the Hekla volcano in Iceland. The production ensures minimal energy consumption, as the modules do not need to be burned, and as the products can easily be crushed and recycled at the end of their lifetime, the environmental impact of our products is minimal.
