The Schiedel PRIMA PLUS system is a single-wall stainless steel relining system designed to retrofit existing brick chimneys when upgrading heating boilers or fireplaces.
Manufactured from acid- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, PRIMA PLUS provides long-term protection against aggressive condensates generated by modern heating appliances. By inserting factory-fitted elastomer lip seals into the push-fit joints, the system operates safely under overpressure conditions up to 200 Pa (and up to 5000 Pa with special locking bands up to DN 300).

The system structure
Once sufficiently large installation openings have been created for the inspection opening and the flue pipe connection, the individual components of the system can be installed. The individual components are inserted into each other and secured with a clamping strap if necessary. At their upper end, the elements have a sleeved end into which the plug-in end of the following element is inserted. To finish off, the shaft cover prevents rainwater from penetrating the existing chimney. The pipe column is guided centrally using spacer springs and the set screws of the shaft cover
