The Schiedel UNI PLUS chimney system combines three perfectly matched components to ensure exceptional structural stability, thermal resistance, and long-term operating efficiency for modern homes:
- High-temperature fireclay inner pipe: Features a round geometry engineered for optimal flow dynamics. Highly resistant to extreme heat, acids, and soot fires. The precise rebate joint system ensures superior joint stability and tightness.
- Custom-fitted mineral insulation: High-density insulation board engineered with specialized profiling for exact alignment around the inner ceramic pipe and within the outer casing block.
- Lightweight concrete casing block: Designed with integrated rear-ventilation channels to prevent moisture accumulation, alongside corner reinforcement channels to accommodate structural stability setups for tall roof clearances.

The system structure
The UNI PLUS system starts on a foundation built on site, on which a prefabricated base is mounted. This contains the inspection/cleaning door and all other components. After a ceiling duct, the flue pipe connection is attached to connect the fireplace. The chimney is crowned with a Schiedel chimney head including the stainless steel air inlet head plate and an outlet cone.
