SIRIUS - The freestanding wood-burning stove with ambient air-independent operation

Schiedel SIRIUS

SIRIUS is the most modern freestanding stove from Schiedel. It is available in two model variants: while the SIRIUS 1.1 model impresses with its rounded simplicity, the SIRIUS 3.1 variant offers an even greater view of the fire thanks to the side viewing panels. In addition to its modern look, the stove's biggest plus point is its approved room air-independent operation.

Highlights

Rooted in the timeless tradition of bringing the warmth of an open flame into the living space, SIRIUS combines refined engineering with a prominent fire view. Manufactured to rigorous quality standards, the freestanding stove is available in two distinct configurations: SIRIUS 1.1 and SIRIUS 3.1 - the latter featuring additional side viewing windows for an expanded view of the fire. Certified for room-sealed operation, SIRIUS is an ideal choice for modern, airtight building envelopes.

Key features and technical specifications at a glance:

Certified room-sealed operation

The freestanding SIRIUS wood-burning stove features a self-closing combustion chamber door and a continuously welded body. Certified for room-sealed operation, it draws combustion air directly from the outside via the connected flue system rather than from the installation room. This enables safe, simultaneous operation alongside mechanical ventilation systems in modern, airtight homes. Standard room-air-dependent operation is also supported.

Modern, elegant, timeless

The SIRIUS models 1.1 and 3.1 impress with their modern and timeless look. The rounded design allows the stove to nestle elegantly into the room, while the trendy black color makes it stand out. If you want an unclouded view of the flames, the SIRIUS 3.1 model is the perfect choice. This version is equipped with additional side viewing panels and therefore provides a great view of the fire from a wide variety of positions.

Energy Class A+

SIRIUS combines modern combustion technology with a nominal heat output of 6.0 kW. The stove operates at a thermal efficiency of 80.8–82% and holds an A+ energy efficiency rating.

Connection to the chimney

The most important prerequisite for operating a fireplace is a suitable chimney. The fireplace and the chimney form a system. The chimney ensures that the flue gases are discharged via the roof and, in the case of an ambient air-independent mode of operation, also supplies the oxygen required for combustion. The fiery interplay of flames can only be enjoyed to the full with optimum coordination. The SIRIUS stove can be connected to an existing chimney. If there is no chimney in the house, a stainless steel chimney can be retrofitted to the house facade. The freestanding stove can also be easily connected to such an external wall chimney. The connecting piece to the chimney can be connected behind and on top of the stove.
