Schiedel PERMETER SMOOTH is a double-walled chimney system engineered to create a clean, modern aesthetic in visible living spaces.
The inner pipe is manufactured from high-grade stainless steel with continuous butt-seam welding. The powder-coated steel outer jacket absorbs structural loads. The intervening gap is pre-insulated with 25 mm (standard) or 50 mm (optional) high-density Superwool mineral insulation. Individual components connect smoothly via an engineered push-fit system that entirely eliminates visible locking bands.

The structure of the system
The PERMETER SMOOTH multilayer stainless steel chimney consists of a comaxite-painted steel outer shell and a stainless steel inner liner, between which thermal insulation is integrated. The parts simply slide into each other, the joint is without visible clips.
